PREP Write about the film making that you have done over the last two weeks. Add photos to support and illustrate your post.
For film making we needed a production company logo so first we created one using a camera that we could move around. We made sure the title & prop was inplace and then we took our first photo. we did this continuously moving the prop a small bit as we went along. we did this untill we had a small sequence of a car driving in round the title and opening the car door. then we added a sound of traffic and a skidding tire. we also made a logo using the gloves and hat we used in our filming.
For table top filming we started by setting up our table with lots of different things like a briefcase full of photos and artifacts, lots of articles and images and even some bloody money. but first we put a black cloth down where all our objects went on top. next we started the process of filming and practised the fiming method of going a long the table in landscape and zooming in on diffrent objects as we went along. once we had practised we started to film using some acting hands where one opened the brief case to make more of an effect when the images showed on camera inside and the other placed the bloody money on the table cloth and then blew out the lit candle, letting the smoke fog up the camera lens to fade out the clip. this was all filmed in birds eye view and the filmer slowly went over the table going from one side to the other and stopped on the important objects and zoomed in on them then carried on to the end of the table until the end.
We then filmed some live action clips to put in to our intro, first we picked our props of red gloves and hat and went to start filming. we filmed by some doors with windows and filmed a lady shooting sombody and then stepping over the dead body. We did this as we wanted to potray our character as a killer and wanted it to relate to the fact there were missing posters. We also filmed another scene where we had another person walking on a path in a wood hearing rustling noises and then the same killer following her. we did this to set up the next scene and show she was her next victem.
Next we Started editing we first added in our table top filming and added our title sequence and names of each member of our team. then we added in our live action scenes one at the begining and then we layed the other scene in the middle. We then added music to compliment our intro and then added in the logo which we added car sound effects too and also added in our other logo.
Over all i think our filming went reasonbly well and liked the end result i thought that we did struggle in some cases. we struggled when filming live action as we got the camera person filming in the reflection of the window. We also found it hard when editing as we couldnt find the right place to put the titles where they could be scene best but not cover the table top filming. although we had struggles i thought all in all our film making was a big sucsess and very enjoyable.

10/10 Congratulation to all in Indigo Studios and Speed Media on an excellent film opening! You made two production company logos in stop frame animation, filmed and edited a tabletop sequence followed by a live-action sequence, then added titles and sound. Altogether a dramatic, powerful and visually memorable piece. I loved the sound track!Well done for your work on that, Eloise.
